Motus George, representing Jaguar and Land Rover, currently holds a vacancy for a Vehicle Sales Manager.
This is a key leadership position suited to an experienced and dynamic manager with a proven ability to drive sales performance, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and lead a high-performing team within a premium automotive environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Vehicle Sales Department to achieve volume, profit, and customer satisfaction targets.

  • Build strong relationships with high net-worth clients and ensure an exceptional luxury sales experience.

  • Recruit, develop, and motivate the sales team to consistently meet objectives.

  • Monitor and manage departmental budgets, profitability, and cost controls.

  • Maintain optimum vehicle stock levels and ensure timely procurement of new models.

  • Oversee vehicle display standards and ensure compliance with Jaguar Land Rover brand guidelines.

  • Review pricing, trade-in values, and promotions to maintain dealership profitability.

  • Monitor financial performance weekly and implement corrective actions as required.

  • Ensure delivery processes meet Jaguar Land Rover Vehicle Delivery Quality Standards (VDQS).

  • Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally to ensure continued loyalty.

  • Ensure staff receive ongoing brand and product training, including new model launches.

  • Drive the sale of back-end and value-added products.


Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications

  • Grade 12 (Matric) is essential.

  • Minimum 3 years’ managerial experience in the motor vehicle industry, preferably within a premium or luxury brand dealership (Jaguar, Land Rover, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volvo, etc.).

  • A Sales or Marketing tertiary qualification will be an advantage.

  • Strong leadership, administration, and customer relationship management skills.

  • Ability to plan, organize, and implement effective sales strategies.

  • Experience in vehicle procurement and floorplan management is essential.

  • Valid South African Driver’s Licence and clear criminal record required.
