The ISUZU TRUCK SALES DIVISION at Multifranchise Isuzu Zambezi has an opportunity available for a TRUCK/ COMMERCIAL SALES EXECUTIVE

The purpose of the role is to optimise sales opportunities - build and maintain relationships with new and current customers, improve footprint and market share in our region, and achieve our retail sales targets.
A basic salary and commission structure is being offered for this role, and it can be a lucrative career for a driven salesperson with a track record of successful target achievement. 

 Key Duties:

  • Achieve monthly sales targets.
  • Deliver on daily sales activity requirements.
  • Customer and sales management.
  • Drive specific strategies to retain and grow existing customer base, footprint and market share.
  • Prospect for new customers and maintain existing customer relationships.
  • Sell vehicle features and benefits.
  • Work with customers to design and structure truck deals in accordance with customer needs and vehicle specifications.
  • Handle customer questions and overcome objections.
  • Professionally handle the vehicle handover to the customer.
  • Manage customer expectations to ensure effective delivery of service.
  • Marketing via social media and other relevant platforms to target customers.
  • Attend regular sales and customer meetings.
  • Attend all relevant company and OEM training courses, and any other developmental training opportunities allocated.

Experience Required:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of truck sales experience in the motor industry is essential.
  • Highly experienced in working closely with key decision makers for commercial fleet customers to conclude deals that are tailor-made to customer needs.
  • A proven track record of meeting monthly truck sales targets and experience in cold calling and fleet calling to develop a client base.
  • Experience in the application of Truck Science is required.
  • CMS - an advantage.

Qualifications Required:

  • Senior Certificate (Grade 12)

Other Requirements:

  • Valid, unendorsed drivers license for driving trucks. Code 14 with PDP will be an advantage.
