Job Description: Motus Autoworx, a dynamic leader in the vehicle repair industry is looking, is inviting applications from honest, trustworthy, and highly responsible candidates with relevant experience to apply for the position of a Production Manager at our East London branch. 

Position Overview: The purpose of the position is to assist the Regional Manager with operation, administration, compliance and the performance management of administrative support staff.


Minimum Experience: 
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in running a Panel Shop 

Minimum Qualification:
  • Grade 12
Minimum Requirements: 
  • Knowledge of TMS/Audatex – advantageous
  • Computer literate 
  • Familiarity with Autobody repair administrative requirements 
  • Background in compliance and/or health and safety in an autobody environment – advantageous 
  • Valid unendorsed code 08 driver’s license 

Job Outputs: 
  • Managing the achievement of ETA date  
  • Maintaining focus on moving vehicles timeously 
  • Planning of job through the system – updating dates on TMS 
  • Check accuracy on work carried out as per job card 
  • Ensuring all new parts are fitted correctly to vehicles 
  • Checking quality in all departments throughout the repair process 
  • Ensuring cleanliness within the workshop is always maintained 
  • Adhering to all health and safety requirements (OHSACT) 
  • Overseeing the overall production operations 
  • Establishing which jobs should be outsourced vs internal repairs 
  • Follow up with outstanding parts 
  • Follow up with outsourced partners for latest ETA 
  • Communicate all reworks with Manager 
  • Follow up with repairs and maintenance. 
  • Ensuring pressure tests are completed and recorded on TMS
