Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team at VW Germiston dealership. The Sales Representative will be responsible for selling used vehicles and providing excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve monthly sales targets for used vehicles
- Prospect and generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals
- Conduct test drives and vehicle demonstrations for potential customers
- Negotiate pricing and finalize sales contracts with customers
- Maintain knowledge of current inventory and promotions
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
- Assist in marketing and promotional activities to drive sales
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge and customer service skills
Requirements:
- Proven track record in automotive sales, preferably in used vehicles
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Knowledge of automotive industry trends and vehicle features
- Ability to work weekends and some holidays as needed
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in automotive sales
- Experience with CRM software and sales tracking tools is a plus
