NEW VEHICLE SALES MANAGER - FORD PAARDEN EILAND

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven New Vehicle Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales team. This role is responsible for driving sales performance, maximizing profitability, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales journey.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead, manage, and motivate a high-performing New Vehicle Sales team
  • Drive sales to meet and exceed targets and forecasts
  • Maximise profitability through effective pricing, deal structuring, and customer retention
  • Ensure optimal vehicle stock levels and strong inventory management
  • Monitor department performance and implement improvements where needed
  • Oversee pricing strategies, trade-ins, and discount structures
  • Ensure a seamless and high-quality vehicle delivery experience
  • Manage and resolve customer queries and complaints effectively
  • Drive customer satisfaction and retention targets
  • Control departmental costs in line with budget requirements
  • Ensure continuous training and development of Sales Executives
  • Manage floorplan activities and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Drive the sale of value-added products and services

What you need:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in vehicle sales (new vehicle experience essential)
  • Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong leadership and team management experience
  • Solid understanding of vehicle pricing, valuations, and profitability
  • Experience with sales processes, systems, and performance management
  • Knowledge of target-driven environments and margin management advantageous

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (Sales, Marketing, or Business Management) – advantageous

Other requirements:

  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Computer literate (MS Office and sales/CRM systems)
  • Strong understanding of the motor industry
