Job Summary:

Mercedes-Benz Sandton is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Technician to join our Service team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in servicing and repairing a variety of equipment, as well as exceptional customer service skills. The Specialist Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, performing repairs and maintenance, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

 Responsibilities:

 - Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with equipment

- Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment according to manufacturer specifications

- Test and calibrate equipment to ensure proper functionality

- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients

- Create detailed service reports and documentation of work performed

- Stay up to date on industry trends and advancements in technology

- Collaborate with team members and other departments to provide efficient service

 
Qualifications:

 - High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or technical certification preferred

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a service technician, with a focus on troubleshooting and repairing equipment

- Strong technical expertise in a variety of equipment types and brands

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
