Job Title: Parts Key Account Manager
Location: Various locations (may require extensive travel)
The Parts Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with key accounts in the automotive industry. They will focus on selling aftermarket parts and components to automotive manufacturers, dealerships, and distributors. The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge and experience in the automotive sector, with a proven track record of driving sales and exceeding revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts in the automotive industry
2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the customer base
3. Provide exceptional customer service and support to key accounts
4. Drive sales growth by promoting and selling aftermarket parts and components
5. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery of products and resolve any customer issues
6. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge
7. Prepare and present sales proposals and reports to key accounts
8. Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the company
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development in the automotive industry
3. Strong knowledge of aftermarket parts and components for automobiles
4. Proven track record of driving sales and meeting revenue targets
5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
6. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
8. Willingness to travel frequently to meet with key accounts and attend industry events
