Job Title: Specialist Accountant Multi-Franchise
Location: East Rand
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialist Accountant to oversee the financial operations of multiple franchise locations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting practices for franchise businesses and a solid understanding of multi-location financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the financial operations of multiple franchise locations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance of each location to identify areas for improvement and take corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with franchise accounting guidelines and regulations.
- Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for each location.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with franchise owners and provide guidance on financial matters.
- Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial plans for each location.
- Implement and maintain accounting systems and procedures to track expenses, revenues, and profits.
- Coordinate with external auditors to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Conduct regular financial reviews and audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably within the franchise industry.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
