Job Description

Purpose
To develop tactical strategy and associated delivery plans related to distribution activities ensuring practice integration and operational implementation in order to
achieve and maximise performance, sales and profits for the business.

Minimum Experience
  • 5 - 8 years experience in a similar environment, of which at least 3 - 4 years managerial experience

Minimum Qualification
  • Bachelor`s Degrees and/or Advanced Diplomas with NQF Level 07

Minimum Requirements
  • Computer Literacy Business Applications
  • Industry legislative compliance/ knowledge. 

GENERIC JOB OUTPUTS
PROCESS AND GOVERNANCE
  • Analyse, interpret, and produce detailed reports explaining trends, discrepancies and inconsistencies. 
  • Develop a plan for multi practice changes, specify the priorities of delivery plans and resources needed. 
  • Develop tactical strategy and delivery plans to support multi functional strategic objectives in conjunction with other business units. 
  • Implement corporate governance, compliance, integrity and ethics policies in multiple practice areas in order to identify and manage risk liabilities. 
  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships for the purposes of expectation management, knowledge sharing and integration.
  • Develop a customer service feedback process, ensure its implementation and adjust service delivery policy and practices as required.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments and develop networks for market intelligence, informed decision making and competitive advantage purposes.
  • Manage the full logistics function across the value chain from the ordering process through to shipping, storage and transportation and finally to the delivery
  • of vehicles to the dealer.
  • Manage the rental agency fleet distribution process to ensure efficient delivery of new vehicles to rental agency and receive in and dispose of used vehicles
  • from rental agency to dealer.

FINANCE
  • Contribute to the setting of budgets, minimise expenditure and manage costs and assets effectively.
  • Plan and implement a cycle of constant cost improvements in area of responsibility.

CLIENT/CUSTOMER
  • Plan and deliver services that create a culture which aims to exceed customer expectations in all aspects of the business. 
  • Prepare service delivery excellence plans for internal and external customers and ensure implementation. 
  • Manage an integrated service excellence culture, which builds rewarding relationships and provides opportunity for feedback and exceptional service.
