Motus Toyota Cape Gate currently holds a vacancy for a Storekeeper reporting to the Manager: Parts.

The person in this position will be responsible for unpacking and storing in correct bin location, incoming parts, and to pick parts against correct documentation for delivery.

• Receive, unpack, check and bin all incoming stock.
• Ensure that parts are free from damage and that the part number and label are correct before binning
• Ensure Admin department receives all relevant documentation with signatures
• Ensure accuracy of binning
• Update bin locations as per Toyota specifications and standards
• Pick all parts against a computerized invoice (unless otherwise stated) and hand to appropriate authorized person
• Examine and ensure all outgoing parts are free from damage before handing over to appropriate person
• Ensure accuracy of picking
• Adhere to all safety and security Policies set out by the Company
• Maintain and keep warehouse clean and tidy at all times
• Assist with perpetual and periodic stock counts
• Perform any other reasonable duties that may be required from time to time
• Ensure dress code is according to Toyota standards and personal hygiene
• Be willing to work overtime during Stocktaking

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• A minimum of Grade 12
• Computer literacy is essential
• Clear Criminal Record
• Area Warehouse knowledge experience will be an advantage
• Must have excellent verbal communication skill
• Working within Toyota Standards
