Job Purpose
To coordinate, plan and deliver daily team tasks for the parts warehouse function through the execution of predefined objectives as per agreed standard operating procedures.
Minimum Experience
2 - 3 years' experience in a similar environment, of which at least 1 - 2 years' supervisory / team lead experience.
Minimum Qualification
• Matric (Grade 12)
• A tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred Experience
1 - 3 year experience in a similar environment
Minimum Requirements
A broad understanding of the motor and/or the logistics and /or transport industry and legislation relating thereto.

•Drive optimisation to maximise profits.

- Monitor and report on own and team's transactional activities to provide timely information for decision making in area of accountability.

- Allocate parts orders efficiently to picking staff in order to ensure that parts are picked timeously.
- Control all incoming stock to ensure parts are received correctly.
- Deliver on agreed performance targets according to set procedures and service level agreement.
- Effectively communicate discrepancies on the system related to the availability of parts, products and accessories, to ensure accurate stock holding.
- Ensure best practices to reduce damages and stock shrinkages with regards to receiving and dispatching of parts.
- Ensure best practices to reduce stock damages and shrinkages during the receiving and dispatching processes of parts.
- Ensure that all stock shipments that are received, are quality checked and stocked within OEM/Importer standards.
- Inspect and ensure stock received are intact and without damages.
- Inspect parts received to ensure packaging is intact and parts not damaged.
- Offload containers in accordance with agreed timeframes.
- Verify stock received against order to ensure correct stock has been issued
