Requirements and Experience

• Grade 12 Certificate 
• Computer literacy, especially in Word and Excel.
• Experience using CAD software is a pre-requisite, especially Rhino.
• Previous experience operating A 5- Axis Thermwood CNC machines will be beneficial
• Good health and physically fit to assist in loading and unloading materials from the CNC table. 
• Willingness to learn new software and skills
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrate sound work ethics

Duties and responsibilities

• You will be responsible for operating and maintaining a 5-Axis Thermwood CNC machine.
• Cutting would be mostly for sacrificial moulds, templates, and jigs for various departments.
• General admin duties would be to maintain your filing system, keep a record of materials and consumables and manage job cards.
• CNC work would include preparing models for CNC, generating toolpaths, cutting parts, verifying, and checking dimensions of cut parts.
• Assembly, bonding, and vacuum bagging would be required for larger parts.
• You may be required to work overtime or on weekends from time to time and assist the department with other tasks.
