Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Technical Designer to join our design team. The Technical Designer will work closely with our design, engineering, and production teams to create innovative and visually appealing products. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and be able to translate creative concepts into detailed technical drawings and specifications. 

This role ensures that products are functional, manufacturable, and aligned with quality and cost requirements, while maintaining design intent.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret design concepts and convert them into accurate technical drawings and specifications
• Prepare detailed CAD drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and production teams to ensure feasibility and accuracy
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and company requirements
• Conduct design reviews and implement necessary revisions
• Support prototyping, testing, and product development processes
• Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to clarify technical details
• Maintain up-to-date records of drawings, revisions, and specifications
• Assist in resolving technical issues during production and manufacturing stages
• Ensure cost-effective design solutions without compromising quality

Minimum Requirements:

- Diploma/bachelor's degree in industrial design, engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in technical design or product development
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.)
- Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and engineering principles
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
