Job Description: Auto Pedigree is looking for an experienced IT Support Technician based at  Head Office in Spartan. This position is an ideal opportunity for someone with good problem solving ability. The position reports directly to the the IT Manager.

Position Overview: The IT Support Technician will serve as the primary point of contact for end users seeking technical assistance and maintenance within the organization’s desktop computing environment. The role involves troubleshooting, resolving hardware and software issues, and ensuring optimal performance of IT systems. 

Minimum 
Experience:
  • 1–5 years of relevant IT support/helpdesk experience.

Minimum Qualification:
  • Grade 12 
  • CompTIA A+ Certification 
  • CompTIA N+ Certification 
  • Other relevant IT certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco) will be advantageous.

Technical Skills:
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and Office 365. 
  • Experience with common IT ticketing systems. 
  • LAN/WAN support experience. 

Job Outputs: 
  • Provide first-line technical support to end users via phone, email, and remote desktop. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues. 
  • Maintain and support desktop environments, including installation and configuration of workstations. 
  • Manage user accounts and permissions using Active Directory. 
  • Support Office 365 applications and services. 
  • Log and track support requests using the organization’s IT ticketing system. 
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams when necessary. 
  • Assist with LAN/WAN troubleshooting and support. 
  • Maintain documentation of support activities and procedures. 
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets and inventory. 
  • Participate in IT-related projects where required.
